Where the GOP is headed
The debate on the Republican health care bill is really heating up. The House and Senate bills are pretty much the same and this bill has been presented before, it’s Paul Ryan’s bill. He passed this bill in 2011. House Speaker Paul Ryan has been against the”entitlements” since he came to Congress, and he always starts by attacking Medicaid. They say Medicaid is in trouble, with not enough money to run it — yet they are not taking the trillion dollars they are taking from Medicaid and putting back in the federal budget. Instead, they are giving it to millionaires.
Now they have a president who wants a win, no matter what, and will sign this bill. This is just the start of the slippery slope. Next, I believe, Ryan will have the insurance companies running Medicare and Wall Street running Social Security.
Ryan’s goal has always been to end Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid: Now his goal is weeks away. Do people really want this?
